Therapy Providers of America, Inc. was established to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients who were not being appropriately serviced by either outpatient clinics or home health agencies.
Therapy Providers of America, Inc. is a unique provider of rehabilitation. Comprehensive rehabilitation services are at nursing homes, facilities for the developmentally delayed, outpatient clinics, work sites, and within the patient’s own home.
BACKGROUND
Therapy Providers of America, Inc. was founded by Mashkoor Ali-Khan, who is a Licensed Physical Therapist within Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.
Mr. Ali-Khan received his Associate Degree in Pharmacy at Ferris State University located in Michigan. His B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy was achieved through the Chicago Medical School, and post-graduate courses at Northwestern University.
Mr. Ali-Khan began his internship at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Upon completing his internship, he was offered the position of Staff Physical Therapist and accepted this position. He left Christ Hospital as a Staff Physical Therapist.
Mr. Ali-Khan received his experience in Rehabilitative Therapy working as an independent contractor through Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Evanston Hospital, Lake Forest Hospital, Mercy Hospital and Outpatient Clinic and St. Francis Medical Center. Mr. Ali-Khan left Christ Hospital as Senior Physical Therapist to begin his own treatment center, Home Therapy Associates, Ltd. Home Therapy Associates, Ltd. contracted over forty-five therapists rendering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and medical social work services to patients within the Chicagoland area.
ADMINISTRATION
As Administrator and President of Therapy Providers of America, Inc., Mr. Ali-Khan serves in an administrative capacity for a number of organizations.
Mr. Ali-Khan’s responsibility as Administrator and President of Therapy Providers of America, Inc. is to manage the business affairs and the overall operation of the agency. He is also accountable to the Board of Directors for the organization and operation of the company.
His administrative responsibility is to assure the delivery of quality services according to agency policies, and in compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
